In the course of the „Festival of Lights“ Panirama and friends will illuminate the facade of the “Hotel de Rome” in Berlin.
Beginning October, 10th the facade of the exclusive Hotel, located on Bebelplatz will be aroused by a mapped video projection each evening until October 21st.
Directed by the Illuminationsmanufaktur Panirama, the video installation will take the visitors to magically changing worlds.
The Beginning of the half-hourly show will be illustrated by a friend. Katharina Berndt will follow with her prize-winning show “Sleeping Beauty – poetic adaption of a fairytale without words”. She shows what an analog feeling digital media can create and that reduction can include compression just as expansion.
After a short braek Panirama´s media artists and 3D designers will present their view on fairy tales, change and the world in an abstract interpretation of the subject.
The friends again are asked to design the end of the show. Panirama invites the visitors of the “Festival of Lights” to design a new view of the facade of “Hotel de Rome”. From October 1st, a template is available for download on the Panirama face book profile. This template can be used for an individual design and be posted again. The best ones will be presented on the facade each day.
